About Your Teacher

Hi, I’m Hannah Macintyre — evidential medium, bestselling author, podcast host, and spiritual mentor. For over a decade, I’ve been supporting people to explore mediumship and spiritual development in a grounded, accessible, and deeply human way.

I don’t believe mediumship is reserved for a chosen few. I believe it is a natural capacity that many of us carry, often quietly, and that with the right support, structure, and encouragement, it can be developed safely, steadily, and with confidence.

My own journey wasn’t dramatic or instant. For a long time, I doubted what I was receiving and assumed that connecting with Spirit required a kind of certainty or special calling that I didn’t feel I had. What I came to understand is that mediumship is not about force or performance. It’s about learning to listen, trust your sensitivity, and develop your connection with care, ethics, and understanding.

I teach in a warm, down-to-earth way: honest, practical, and sometimes light-hearted, because this work should feel supportive and inspiring, not intimidating or overwhelming. My focus is always on helping students understand what they’re experiencing, so they can practise with clarity and trust rather than confusion or self-doubt.

Over the years, through my books, courses, live programmes, and online community, I’ve supported thousands of students around the world to deepen their connection with Spirit, strengthen their confidence, and develop clearer, more grounded communication.

Do I need previous experience to join this course?

No. The 5 Frequency Foundations is designed specifically as a beginner mediumship course. You don’t need any prior training or experience, just an openness to learn and practise in a supportive environment.

What will I actually learn in this mediumship course?

Is this an evidential mediumship course?

This course introduces evidential mediumship as one of the five frequencies, but it is not solely focused on demonstrations or performance.

It is a foundations course, designed to help you understand the different ways Spirit communicates before moving into more advanced evidential work.

Will there be live practice or is it just teaching?

This is a live, interactive course, not just theory.

Each session includes guided exercises, practical development work, and interactive elements designed to help you build confidence through experience. We’ll also work with tools such as colour and oracle cards to support your learning.

What if I feel nervous or unsure about practising?

That’s completely normal — and expected.

This course is designed to be gentle, supportive, and confidence-building. You don’t need to perform or prove anything. The intention is to help you understand what you’re receiving and practise in a way that feels safe and encouraging.

Is trance included, and is it suitable for beginners?

Yes, trance is included as one of the five frequencies.

It is introduced gently and accessibly, as a way of understanding deeper blending with Spirit, not as an advanced or dramatic trance state. There is no pressure to “go deep” or perform in any way.

What if I can’t attend every session live?

All sessions are recorded.

If you can’t attend live, you’ll be able to catch up via replay. The recordings will also be added to The Gateway Vault after the course, so the learning continues beyond the live programme.

How long do I have access to the replays?

Replays are available to enrolled students for the duration of the course and a short period afterwards. The full course will then be added to The Gateway Vault as part of the ongoing video library.

Is this course suitable if I want to develop spiritually but not become a professional medium?

Yes.

Many students take this course for personal spiritual development, understanding their intuition, or deepening their connection with Spirit, not necessarily to work professionally. The foundations taught here support all paths.

How is this different from other online mediumship courses?

This course focuses on understanding frequency, not just techniques.
