A Transformative Four-Day Retreat By The Sea

Join me for a grounded, deeply supportive four-day spiritual retreat by the beautiful Kent coast.
This retreat is designed for anyone drawn to mediumship, spiritual awareness, and personal growth — whether you’re just beginning or ready to deepen your connection.

Across four days of experiential sessions, guided exploration, reflection, and community connection, you’ll have space to:

  • open and expand your intuition

  • explore mediumship in a supportive setting

  • build confidence through practice and guidance

  • rest, reflect, and reconnect with what matters

This isn’t a course. It’s an experience.

What Makes This Retreat Special

This retreat blends learning, connection, and presence. You’ll benefit from:

  • 14 in-depth, experiential sessions with International Medium & Mentor Hannah Macintyre

  • A held, supportive container for spiritual development

  • A small, intimate group (max 20) — lively, connected, seen

  • Time for rest, reflection, and personal integration

  • Complimentary hot drinks and generous breaks

  • Optional social time and shared moments that often become the most memorable part

Whether you’re nervous, curious, or confidently expanding, this retreat meets you where you are.

A Retreat That Feels Like Living the Work

One of the most meaningful parts of residential retreats isn’t just what’s taught — it’s where learning happens:

  • over coffee conversations

  • mid-afternoon shoreline walks

  • reflections in quiet moments

  • sharing gently with people who understand

And yes — whether it’s tea, coffee, or a glass of wine in the hotel bar, shared moments outside the session room often become highlights.

This is a space where the work continues in presence, not just in curriculum.

Location

Dover Marina Hotel & Spa — just steps from the sea

The retreat takes place at this elegant coastal hotel, offering:

  • cosy lounges and relaxed spaces

  • spa facilities for wellbeing

  • fine dining on site (Marco Pierre White Steakhouse)

  • peaceful beach access for grounding and reflection

The setting is intentionally spacious, calm, and ideal for inner work and quiet integration.

About Your Teacher

Hi, I’m Hannah Macintyre — evidential medium, bestselling author, podcast host, and spiritual mentor. For over a decade I’ve been supporting people to explore mediumship and spiritual awareness in a grounded, accessible, and human way.

I don’t believe spiritual connection is reserved for a chosen few. I believe it’s something we all have the capacity for, when we’re given the right space, support, and permission to trust our own experience.

My own journey wasn’t dramatic or instant. For a long time I doubted my intuition and assumed that working with Spirit required a special calling or certainty I didn’t feel I had. What I came to understand is that spiritual development isn’t about force or performance — it’s about learning to listen, to trust yourself, and to work with sensitivity in a way that feels safe and real.

I teach and hold space in a warm, down-to-earth way — honest, practical, and sometimes light-hearted — because spiritual development should feel inspiring and supportive, not intimidating or overwhelming. Over the years, through my books, events, and online work, I’ve supported thousands of people to deepen their connection with Spirit and feel more confident in their own intuitive awareness.

This retreat reflects the way I believe spiritual development happens best: not just through sessions, but through presence, shared space, conversation, reflection, and gentle exploration over time. Being together in this way allows learning to unfold naturally, rather than being rushed or forced.

Whether you’re at the very beginning of your journey or looking to deepen what you already sense and know, my intention is that you feel held, supported, and encouraged to trust your own experience — and to leave feeling more connected, confident, and at ease with your spiritual awareness.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need any experience to attend?

No. This retreat is suitable for complete beginners as well as those who already have experience in spiritual or mediumistic development.

Everything is guided step by step, and there is no expectation to “perform” or demonstrate anything you’re not comfortable with. You’re encouraged to participate at your own pace, in a supportive and welcoming environment.

What if I feel nervous or unsure of my abilities?

Feeling nervous is completely normal — and very common.

Many people attend feeling uncertain, curious, or unsure of their abilities. This retreat is designed to feel safe, grounded, and held, with plenty of reassurance, guidance, and space to ask questions. You do not need confidence to arrive — confidence grows through the experience.

Is this retreat religious?

No. The retreat is spiritual rather than religious.

You don’t need to follow any specific belief system. The work is grounded in personal experience, awareness, and exploration of the Spirit World in a respectful, open way.

Will I be expected to give readings or work publicly?

No. There is no pressure to work publicly.

Some sessions involve paired or small-group exercises, and there is an optional student demonstration session for those who wish to take part. You will never be pushed to do anything you’re not comfortable with, you are welcome to attend and just watch if you prefer.

What is the group size?

The retreat is limited to 20 participants.

This creates a lively, connected group while still allowing for personal attention, support, and a sense of being seen throughout the retreat.

What is included in the price?

Your retreat fee includes:

  • All sessions and teachings across the four days

  • Complimentary hot drinks during mid-morning and afternoon breaks

  • Use of the retreat space and facilities during sessions

Accommodation, meals, travel, and spa treatments are not included and are booked separately, allowing you to choose what suits you best.

Where do I stay?

Most attendees choose to stay at the Dover Marina Hotel & Spa, where the retreat takes place. There are also more budget-friendly options within walking distance, including a Premier Inn and Travelodge.

Full accommodation details and links are provided on the retreat page.

What time should I arrive and leave?

  • Arrival is from 2:00pm on Thursday

  • The retreat concludes at approximately 3:30pm on Sunday

This allows time to arrive calmly, settle in, and leave feeling grounded rather than rushed.

What should I bring?

You’ll receive a short preparation email closer to the retreat, but generally we recommend:

  • Comfortable clothing

  • A notebook and pen

  • A blanket & pillow to relax during meditations

  • Any personal items that help you feel grounded or relaxed

No special equipment or prior materials are needed.

Is there free time during the retreat?

Yes. The schedule includes generous breaks and downtime, particularly on Friday and Saturday afternoons.

There is space to rest, walk by the sea, enjoy the hotel facilities, or simply take quiet time for yourself.

Will there be social time?

Yes — but always optional.

There’s an optional group dinner on Friday evening, and many people enjoy informal conversations over coffee or a drink in the bar after sessions. These relaxed, human moments often become a meaningful part of the experience, but there’s no obligation to join in if you prefer quiet time.

What if I need to cancel?

You have 14 days from booking to cancel for a full refund (minus £5 card processing fees). After this time, payments are non-refundable. We recommend you buy insurance for this trip to protect yourself in the event of cancellation.

How do I book?
